Last night I got another opportunity to do something, well, ummmm, different.  I got a call last week from Audrey, theater manager at the Capitol Theater in Olympia to see if I'd be interested in coming down while the investigators of PIHA (Paranormal Investigations of Historic America) did some research.  I, of course, immediately said "yes".  Ok, this is soooo not true.  I said, let me check my schedule, because, well, it kinda freaked me out.  Thought it over and figured why not, something I've never done before, so packed the camera and headed out.  Of course, the actual investigation was done in darkness so here are some pics before the lights went completely out for the next 4 hours.

A couple weeks ago I got an opportunity to head down to Portland to take photos of a house party.  Yes, I said house party.  The Scottish band, Trashcan Sinatras where playing an acoustic show in a living room for 50 of their fans.  Here's some of the pics from the setup and performance.  I'll post more on facebook page soon.

Last month I had another shoot for Suzabelle Clothing.  This time for her Spring/Summer 2011 Collection.  (see March blog post for Autumn/Winter 2010 Editorial shoot).  As always, Suzanne of Suzabelle was great to work with.   Here's a few shots from the day.  I'll be posting more to my facebook page soon...

Check out one of my recent family photo sessions.  This was my fifth time photographing this family.  Started out with maternity photos for their pregnancy with their first child.  Now they have two toddlers.  So fun to watch the kids grow from year to year. 

The shoot in Santa Fe was awesome.  Got back into town and directly back into shooting a few more jobs.  I am in crazy editing post production sleep is overrated mode right now.  Once I get all caught up I'll have tons of new photos to share.  In the meantime, here's some pics I shot back in 2006 at the Decibel Festival for a magazine.  I was reminded of this today because it is the Decibel Festival this weekend in Seattle.  I don't listen to a ton of electronica, it's true, but I had a great time shooting this festival.   One of the groups I photographed was Nortec Collective and they were so fun.  It was a different scene for me for sure but found it totally enjoyable.  Just one of the many reasons I love my job. 

It's been a busy summer.  Heading out to Santa Fe this weekend to shoot a wedding.  So excited for it.  These two are a ton of fun.  Plus I haven't spent much time in Santa Fe so I'm really looking forward to a few days in the SW.   Here's some shots from their pre-wedding shoot, some might call them engagement photos.
